Gert Boshoff lives in Durbanville , Cape Town where he has a studio showcasing his work.
Born in Kwa Zulu Natal, he spent 5 years carving professionally in the Netherlands, mostly trophy fish carvings and for ship builders. He also ran carving classes in Rotterdam.
When he returned to South Africa, he continued his wildlife carving. He carves mainly wildlife, including dogs, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, whales, birds, and fish.
